StudentKeeper offers a quick and efficient way to navigate the platform using the Command/Ctrl + K search function. With the appropriate access, users can click the Search bar in the top-left corner or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + K) to open a search window. This feature allows you to instantly locate topics, student profiles, and other key sections by simply typing a name or keyword, streamlining your workflow and saving time during the school day.
Prerequisites
- Access to StudentKeeper
Command/Ctrl + K Search Function
From the top left corner, click the Search bar to find topics in StudentKeeper.
Note: To search for topics, you may also press Ctrl and K at the same time on your keyboard. It will open the same window that the Search bar does.
The following pop-up window displays:
You may either enter a word to search or click on the section you want to view. For example, you could start to type one of your student's names, and it will display for you to click on. Then you would be directed to that student's Profile page.
