The StudentKeeper Chrome Client includes a built-in diagnostics module that enables you to test connectivity and collect logs for Ativion Support.
This article focuses on use of the Download Logs command. For an explanation of the other commands within the StudentKeeper Diagnostics Window, refer to the Diagnostics Module Overview.

How to Use the Diagnostics Module to Download Logs
1. Within the Chrome Toolbar, click the StudentKeeper extension icon.
2. In the pop-up, click the version number (v1.2.xx.xxx) seven (7) times. This "easter-egg" shortcut will launch the diagnostics window in a new tab.
3. Click Download Logs and wait for the ZIP file to finish downloading. If this command is disabled, please review the Need Help? section of this article.
4. Open a ticket via the Ativion Support Portal, or open an email for Ativion Support (support@ativion.com).
5. Attach the downloaded ZIP file to the ticket/email and include the following details:
a. Approximate date/time of the issue.
b. Brief description of the observed behavior.
c. ChromeOS version and device model (e.g., “HP Chromebook x360, ChromeOS 124.0.6330.0”).

| Start Test | Performs live connectivity checks to Ativion cloud services. Results populate in real time and are stored with the log bundle. |
| Send Test Results | Automatically emails the test results and diagnostic logs to Ativion Support. Available only on ChromeOS devices. |
| Download Logs | Saves a ZIP archive of diagnostic logs (including any test output) to your local Downloads folder for manual submission. |
