The Thumbnail Default Refresh Rate is a setting that determines how frequently a class thumbnail updates to show the latest information. Essentially, it controls the time in seconds between each refresh of the thumbnail's preview. A lower refresh rate means the thumbnail will update more often, providing a more real-time view of the device's current status or content. This can be useful for quickly monitoring live changes without having to open the full class page. A higher refresh rate, on the other hand, means the thumbnail updates less frequently, which can be beneficial for reducing network traffic and server load, particularly in environments with many users or classes.
