Data Integration: EdLink Integration

StudentKeeper can use a number of data sources to sync user and class rostering data. This is primarily done through EdLink.  

Prerequisites 

• Administrative access to EdLink (Customer and Ativion Admin)
• Administrative access to StudentKeeper (Customer)
• Ativion Admin access to StudentKeeper (Activation)

1.  Login to StudentKeeper

2.  Navigate to Settings and select Data Integration. 

3.  On the Integrations bar, select the Connect with EdLink button. 

4.  A new window will open requiring you to sign-in to your EdLink account with administrative privileges. You will need to select your Data Source from the LMS or SIS tab, then complete the configuration steps.

5.  Once the configuration wizard is complete, the integration will appear in the Ativion Admin > Integrations menu as 'Pending Approval' for that customer. 

6.  An Ativion Admin will need to login to EdLink and select Integrations from the left menu. 

7.  Utilize the Search Integrations box to locate the new customer integration. 

8.  Once located, select the integration with StudentKeeper showing in the Application column. The State will also show as Requested. 

9.  Select the Activate Integration button located in the upper right corner. 

10.  A Change Integration Status box will appear. Select Active to enable the integration.
