The Appliance Link section of StudentKeeper provides a simple and secure way to connect your StudentKeeper instance to the ContentKeeper service. This integration enables filtering capabilities for schools using the StudentKeeper Filtering Services. To set up the link, administrators must have the necessary access and an active subscription. The process involves downloading a license from StudentKeeper and uploading it to the Controller Appliance via the Appliance Link interface. If needed, the connection can be removed at any time. This guide walks users through each step of the configuration process.
Please note that once the appliance linked is initiated, policy management will transition to StudentKeeper and will no longer be accessible on the ContentKeeper appliance.
Prerequisites
- StudentKeeper Admin Access
- Subscription to StudentKeeper Filtering Services
