Classroom Management’s Active Session tools provide teachers with powerful features to monitor and guide student activity in real time. To get started, simply click the shield icon to access your classes, then start or join a session. From there, you can view live student thumbnails, check recent browser tabs, close distracting websites, and even expand a student's screen for a closer look. With the Quick Notes feature, teachers can easily document observations using the AI-powered Teacher’s Aid (Aria), which automatically fills in key session details—making classroom oversight more efficient and effective.

AI Attentiveness Score
-
- The number to the far-right is an AI-generated score (0-100) reflecting the student's engagement level during a given lesson. The AI tool monitors students' tab activity, analyzing the content (i.e., how many tabs open, websites browsed, search terms, etc.) of each tab to determine whether it aligns with the class subject matter and compares it with other students in the classroom as well. The closer the alignment, the higher the "attentiveness" of the student, as reflected in the score. The AI score also considers the idleness of a student's device showing inactivity which in effect lowers the score. When enabled, the teacher or teacher's assistant can monitor the students' focus and take action to keep them on track.
